Learning Journey · Cybersecurity
I come from software development, but security is new territory for me. I want to build a technical foundation before jumping into advanced tools.
The approach
I am starting with Linux and networking because I want to understand what happens beneath applications, rather than just run commands without context.
The goal is to practise in my own lab, document what I learn and turn each stage into notes, articles and small projects.
Roadmap
In progress
Terminal, permissions, processes, files and basic administration.
02Next
TCP/IP, ports, DNS, DHCP, routing, NAT and protocols.
Next
Virtual machines and isolated environments for safe practice.
Next
Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite and other tools used with context.
Next
Labs, challenges and guided exercises that turn theory into experience.
Next
Notes, articles and progress tracking to reinforce what I learn.
